A unique cooling water system designed to handle peak loads of 1150 MW. It has interfaces with most Tokamak sub-systems.

Major items include types of Chillers, Heat Exchangers, Cooling towers, Water polishing units , Pressurizers, Pump sets, Piping, Valves and strainers / filters, Instrumentation, Electrical items and insulation. Equipment / components are being sourced through Larsen & Toubro, Chennai with several other Indian industries as suppliers.
